I qualified as an interpreter by gaining the PGDip in 2008 with SLI LTD. I have worked for over twenty years in education and in the community. I have many years of experience of interpreting in awards ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, conferences, meetings and video interpreting for Walsall Colleges website and staff/student training resources, medical settings, job interviews, safeguarding appointments and training, and contributing to in-house interpreter observations.

In particular, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in education subjects from pre entry to degree level. Subjects include engineering, electric and hybrid vehicle assessment, repair and maintenance, automotive studies, electrical installation, counselling, safeguarding, construction and built environment, sports science, art and design, various courses for students with learning disabilities and difficulties, ICT, carpentry and teacher training. I am also a qualified teacher and assessor having received the A1 assessor qualification in 2012 and the PGCE teaching qualification in 2013.
